iTunes vind het blijkbaar niet leuk als ie tijdens het importeren van nummers vanaf een gemounte Samba share, die share geünmount wordt...

enzo scared us a couple nights ago. one moment he was awake and the next he was in a coma, unable to turn off or wake up... EVEN WITHOUT HIS BATTERY. turns out the power adaptor finally gave up and poor enzo was left with no juice for who knows how long.

less than an hour ago my honey came home with a brand new power adaptor. enzo is back to life! yay!

i really missed you...

What better way to spend boxing day? Mac OS X, Turkey Sandwiches, Real Ale, and the Flickr API.

I have never been more terrified than I was when I saw smoke coming from (actually, right beside) my Powerbook.

powerbook g4 12" disassembly. partway through the ifixit guide. i felt they could have been a little more helpful with the top lid removal... two tabs are accessible through the battery bay, which they did not mention.

Over the weekend, Rich forced me to deal with the pile of mail that's been growing on the corner of my desk. Shred, shred, shred.

The MacBook used the wrong partitioning scheme to boot a PPC so I used another PowerBook G4. Then Carbon Copy Cloner had a bug that did not allow you to make bootable clones. Good times.

I cleaned out and reorganized a room and found something left behind by the previous resident: a Macintosh Powerbook 145B. It even still works, but the battery is useless.

I did clean it up before taking the pictures, but I had trouble getting all the specs off the display.

i rarely put stickers on my machine(s) but when u got shit running through your head daily, you need reminders. this one is on my powerbook.

I am selling this G4 Powerbook on eBay

This little ribbon was the cause of all my random system crashes on my Apple PowerBook Titanium G4.

She drank the cool-aid

Dropped off the Powerbook at EpiCentre@Orchard yesterday for repairs after it refused to startup even after I did an 'erase and install'. Thank goodness for AppleCare. Otherwise, the repairs might cost a bomb.

Guess blogging will be a little light till I get the Powerbook back.
