got a bit trashed one night with my friend cheyenne. when we woke up in the morning, the machine was on the floor and the bezel was cracked. amazingly enough, apple fixed this under applecare

runs on my powerbook, and can be remote controlled with my phone! neat.
has the occasional communication error, but it's not technically supposed to work anyway.
After I swaped the LCD and the backlight, it works. I'm probably going to turn it into a picture frame.

today. Marty rests his head on my hand when he sits on my lap, and usually only wants to sit on my lap when I have the powerbook on it.
This is multi-tasking. I was driving, listening to the music, telling Tommy to do something, taking the picture, and breathing all at the same time. A hundred years ago, a photographer had to stop using his circulatory and respiratory system altogether just to take a picture! Modern progress...
this is where my wrist wrests on the powerbook g4. it looks like a nuclear assault. the equidistant dots in a row are from when I used to wear a watch. they appear at each of the different hand positions! i thought that was really cool. notice the body panels bending, hopefully not a problem with the unibody macbook pro.
Here it is, working fine. It's installing the first batch of software updates, which gave me time to eat some awesome pancakes for dinner.
I've got two or three of these lying around, I have gotten onto the internet with them using a card.
Voor het eerst een Panic Screen op m'n PowerBook G4 :(. Na reboot deed alles het weer.
iTunes vind het blijkbaar niet leuk als ie tijdens het importeren van nummers vanaf een gemounte Samba share, die share geünmount wordt...
't Is wel een veel mooiere foutmelding dan die standaard Windows BSOD
enzo scared us a couple nights ago. one moment he was awake and the next he was in a coma, unable to turn off or wake up... EVEN WITHOUT HIS BATTERY. turns out the power adaptor finally gave up and poor enzo was left with no juice for who knows how long.
less than an hour ago my honey came home with a brand new power adaptor. enzo is back to life! yay!
i really missed you...
