Meisel and other coalition partners spent the week conducting their first part of training for the ARRC's NATO Respose Force, which could force the ARRC to deploy anywhere in the world in support of contingency operations.
Visitors to the Goodman South Madison Library on April 5, 2014, were able to spend their mornings having fun exercising their minds at the Navigant STEM Fair. Kids and their families had the opportunity to investigate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, thanks to volunteers from Navigant, who organized and ran the fair in partnership with the library. Activities included exploring MG&E’s Pedal Power Generator, a Lego Robotics demonstration, the “Science of Goo”, dissecting an owl pellet, creating a battery using food, an an electricity demonstration. Southern 630's steam-powered generator (for the lights).

Southern Railway 630 is a steam locomotive built in 1904 by the American Locomotive Company (Richmond Works) for the Southern Railway. It is a 2-8-0 Consolidation of Southern's Ks-1 class.
The 630 was used on Southern until her retirement in 1952. December of that year, the 630 and sister locomotive, 722, were purchased by the East Tennessee & Western North Carolina Railroad and numbered 207 and 208 appropriately. In December 1967, both locomotives were traded back to the Southern for use in their Steam Program and re-given their former identities in return for a pair of former Central of Georgia Alco RS3's. The locomotives headed main line excursion trains over the entire Southern system until the 1983 when both were retired again from the Southern in lieu of larger power. They both were leased to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum. 722 was later donated by Southern's successor NS to the City of Asheville, NC. TVRM ran the 630 until 1989 when she was yet again retired. 630 was donated to TVRM in 1998 by NS. That same year, the 630 entered TVRM's restoration shop (now Soule Shops) and has since been under restoration. It is one of the most thorough restorations that has been done in the U.S. for many years, including frame work and a complete running gear overhaul. As of March 2011, 630 is once again operational and is currently undergoing test runs.

Part 2 of 3 for the underground base. This is the inside of the unsc base. The farthest room on the left has the barracks and wash room. Featuring 9 beds and a weapons rack in the barracks. The wash room contains two showers two toilets and 1 sink. The second (middle) room is the power generator. With a raised walkway two computer monitors and of course the power generator. Also two weapons racks. The third and final room is the control center. I was unable to remove the too as it was built on different than the other. Please excuse the darkness. This room features a raised walkway, 7 computer monitors, and a central holo projection.

From the FC AV Circus-Bender 5/4 at the White House. Shot on a Canon a1 on some cinestil 800t push processed to 3200. Mostly used the radioactive Canon 35mm fd. A few shots were the 50mm 1.8. One or two with a 4.5 tete. There was a blackout in the area and band/venue rented a power generator and went for it. The lighting was a fun challenge.

City Memorial Park in Farmersville, Texas has a three-cylinder 32E14 Fairbanks-Morse diesel engine and generator on display. It provided Farmersville with its first electric power until 1933, and was moved to its present location at the city park there in the 1980s. From research, I have been able to find out there were one, two, three and four cylinder versions of this unit used in many other cities. Some have been restored and are still operational!
