The Post Office Palace was built (architect H.Schoede) and inaugurated in 1893 on 16 October.

The complex consists of 3 buildings. In the centre there is a two floor post office with attic, on both sides of it, two one-floor buildings: one of them was a warehouse and stables, while the other one is meant for keeping of the carriages.

The interior of the hall survived unchanged until now. In the Post Office tower an ancient carillon was installed (13 November 1987). The instrument, constructed and installed according to Peter Schilling‘s project by masters of Schilling bell foundry in Apolda (Germany).

I posted one earlier that had the bird on the right cropped out. That one isn't in good focus. I like the composition better this way.

I posted a wip of this many months ago, but could never figure out how to suspend the sail.

As far as I know zombies don't fly. Ultralights are by definition, light and don't require long runways. This allows for versatile use, safety, and transportation through the apocalypse.

On a week long trip to Ft. Leavenworth, KS, I took this on the way back to the airport. I think this is the only decent shot I got.
