The book Days with Diam, by Svend Åge Madsen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Svend_Aage_Madsen) is a branching novel with 32 leaf nodes in the binary tree.
Before I could start reading it, I had to label all the chapters to make it easier to jump through the book as well as figure out where i have been previously.
Assembling of quick drawings i made on Post-It in office today while i was waiting for prints to be ploted out. It is illustrating the city planning competition we are working on. I should try this next time for real presentation.
Our User Experience team is doing some work involving a lot of Post-It notes covering the walls. The end result is actually quite pretty.
My friend Milly is a compulsive planner. This is her plan, color coded of course, for her wedding this December. (By the way, the notes on the photo itself about the doves is a joke. But barely. Oh my god, she's going to kill me for posting this.)
Nomads are compact when viewed in the short term, but they need a lot of space in which to wander. Farmers need lots of time-space in which to operate. They can't travel around, but have to stick close to their fields. However, their fields wind up limiting the land that nomadic pastoralists have available in which to pasture their flocks.
