Explaining how a farmer needs both time and space to manage his food supply — the farmer holds a pitchfork and a clock (should have been a calendar), and the other Notes show a plowed field, a seeded field, a growing field, an almost-ready field, and harvest bundles. The animal (horse? cow?) shows that even animal husbandry takes space.
So I was watching some Mark Gormley on youtube, namely Little Wings, and it got me musing on how birds can't grow moustaches. Their beaks kinda combine the nose and mouth, so there's no gap between to fill with a moustache. It doesn't really work!
Here are a couple of attempts on that anyway. I think the bottom right is as close as one shall get to a moustached bird.
