My last drawing of 2016. The original had yellow text on each cloud, the nursing organization's logo on the bottom, and some additional text below the title. The eagle was originally an ink drawing touched up in Photoshop. The clouds and text are all vector designs.

Designing books the conventional way isn’t enough – we want more. More creativity, more inspiration, more fun, more diversity. Therefore, a unique deck of poker cards with each card specially designed by a different designer makes the beginning. More ideas for non-book releases are in the making already.

A subversive comedy inspired by the hit 80's sitcom. More than a simple parody, its underbelly is a dark commentary on being Asian in America.
Currently looking for a job (graphic designer), I tried a different way to capture the attention of employers by creating these "Resume Cards."

Just for fun. Thereby there was no reason to redraw the sampled people among other things.
Wanted to play around with the wording and look of WWI posters. Funny enough, the fonts that I used (other than Arial) were both free. They had that nice naive hand-set, or drawn feeling to them that matched the posters.
Lots more work could've been done and I could've arrived at a different layout solution, but once again - not getting paid, not going to be perfect.

Part 1 of a poster I designed for my final year electrical engineering exhibition outlining the laboratory project I had worked on. Won an award for best final year engineering exhibition poster series. The bonus was a cash price that was attached to that award ;)
Please feel free to comment. I enjoy constructive criticism also!

Ladies and gentlemen, I have the pleasure to announce that my latest piece for the good folks at Design Cuts is now live!
Their current bundle includes a few resources that have struck quite a chord with me, and after some extensive research, we decided to create an (alas fake) gig poster.
The tutorial covers the composition, layout, and texture manipulation techniques I've used for the piece. You should go read it, and let me know what you think.
Also, the Incredible All in One Design Bundle is still available for a few days, and I strongly recommend getting it.

Owning a house represented contentment
These houses were social creations more than architectural ones–they turned the detached single-family house from a distant dream to a real possibility for thousands of middle-class American families.

*the hammer is not visible for it was edited out, the concept arose from a discussion held at a university /nameless/ in 1976, where pamphlets were handed out promoting the joining to the communist party.
I made another poster. So...after months working on this piece I finally finished.

I don't want to hear about the obstacles. I don't want to hear about global economy. I don't want to hear about gabba gabba. Let's make it happen. Sounds like a Ramone's anthem...
