A page from the very comprehensive 1962 BTA rate card booklet that covered London Transport's trains, road services and stations, British Railways trains and stations along with British Road Services, Scottish Transport Group vehicles and external solus sites.
Seen here are the platforms at St John's Wood station then on the Bakerloo line (now the Jubilee). London Transport always made much income from adverts and ran a tight ship when it came to locations and positioning enabling them to charge permium rates. Posters include products such as CWS bicules (then made by the Co-op's own works) and Olivetti Typewriters. The direction sign above the tiling for the Bakerloo Northbound Platform Two is also rather fine!
My little homage to the awesomeness that is Barney Stinson

Based on my Moleskine drawing entry, I made a quick poster concept featuring the London 2012 Olympics logo. Used images and texts from the Official Site and various sources. Amidst harsh critiques on the logo, I think it could work...
I even "londonolympicized" my own logo into the poster.

Proposed poster for Aimee Mann / Jonathan Coulton at The Fillmore, SF, CA.
Aimee Mann's new album is titled "Mental Illness" and Pitchfork succinctly wrote, "Mann is rightfully pissed that she’s . . . pigeonholed as a dreary fabricator of slow, sad-sack songs. So she’s answered her critics with her slowest, sad-sack-iest album yet, one populated by ordinary people struggling against operatic levels of existential pain at odds with their humdrum lives."
And, with that in mind, creating a fake fashion advertisement for straightjackets and overprinting the show details seemed the appropriate level of sarcasm in the face of misery.

The U.S. Mission ran an American Streetscapes photo competition for our Indepedence Day celebration. We received many fabulous contributions to our contest group: See:

We created a poster from selected photos in the group. This is the final poster.
In addition, we are using at least one photo from each photographer who participated in a digital slide show which is being shown at the event.

After watching the awesome Game of Thrones series I became slightly obsessed with each of the House's and their identity or sigil.
Having found the houses and thier representative sigils. I set about creating a vector for each one of them and creating a poster. I hope you like them as much as I do.
