Decades after starting to collect Godzilla stuff, I finally got my favorite G poster for my favorite G film. Grail achieved.
The Polish Godzilla Vs. Hedorah theatrical poster is about 58x82cm / 23x33 inches, the standard size for Polish movie posters from 1949 until late the 70s. I think the Polish release of the film was in '72, but I could totally be off on that. The art is by Zygmunt Bobrowski.
Like most vintage US posters, most of these (like this one) came folded. The paper is very thin and cheap - fragile. Not surprising considering this was communist Poland in the 1970s.

When l was just a little boy l took this off the wall of our local shop. lt was advertising a few local football matches. l kept it all these years and shows grass roots football. The very foundation of what it is all about in the game.
Hendon was a local club club that was not very far from where l lived at that time and when l was not watching my big team you would find me at this ground.
Hendon Founded 1908
Corinthian Casuals founded 1939 after a merger with Corinthians founded 1882 and Casuals founded 1878.
Wealdstone founded 1899.
They are all still very active to this day keeping their continuity and history still very much alive. This is what l call grass roots and feel long may they live
