Ed and Ethel Pennynickel having found this post card decided to finally take that trip to Virginia and stay at the Colony Inn Motel.
Unknown 9th RS, Courtesy George Souness "My Uncles died whilst serving with the 8th and I inherited their published Battalion history from my deceased Father plus his late Sister's chocolate box which contains the photo which the learned have identified as being members of the 9th.There are no written remarks on the reverse of post card so whoever and when it was given to my Aunt is lost in time. "

I went to the post office this morning and traded a little pottery flower for post cards and stamps. Later, while I was writing on them, a nice Australian guy came to the bar and offered me a postcard of his own to send out. He also took my cards back to the post office. I hope to see them in the mail soon.
