So many good things happened in the last 18 hours.
1. I made plans to visit my parents in the sunny South. Goodbye, heavy coat!
2. I made plans to visit a friend in the snowy North. Goodbye, bare skin!
3. I made plans for lots of fun things with Punsir.
4. I met a family friend's grandson for lunch today. He's new to Philly, and we had a great time. I suspect I will also really like his fiancee. New friends!
5. The local NPR station was having a fundraiser at the place where I had lunch: buy a scoop of "WHYY Experience" and they get all the money. You guys, it was Egg Nog Ice Cream with Caramel and Chocolate Covered Pretzels. Fighting the power is so hard sometimes.
Today: WINNING.

New father, Javid Tahirli, his wife and their baby girl took part in a “Papa Schools” project to promote positive parenting. Javid was nominated as the most active father in the project.

In order to make positive thinking yield results, you need to develop a positive attitude toward life, expect a successful outcome of whatever you do, but also take any necessary actions to ensure your success.
Today was the day that will change our life forever. Newly married on 10 Sept 2005, my husband and I have been trying for 9mths for our precious little bundle to arrive. Today a miracle has happened and our test was POSITIVE!!!!! I've calcuated the due date to be 9 Sept 2007 (my best friends birthday). Our Second Year Wedding Anniversary !! I hope for the baby's sake that it does not fall on that date, I think it deserves its own special day in our life!. I am in complete shock, complete happiness and after several tests can still not believe it. The past few months have been focused on my photography and TTC has been pushed aside. I dont "feel" pregnant but im completely stoked on the news that has greeted us today. My family arrive back from London and we are having our own xmas day on the 7th since they missed out this year being home. I have an extra special gift to tell them all this year. This will be the first grandchild in the family on both sides. Just had to put this remarkable day on this site for me to always remember this amazing feeling of elation and excitement.

Tried out Harman Direct Positive Paper in Harman Titan Pincam, Speedy G w/ Aero-E, and Ansco 5x7 w/ a straight normal lens. Still have 4 more to process. The fiber paper is nice, but heck it curls like crazy when drying--thus the clipping together of pairs of prints back-to-back to help alleviate the curl when they dry.
