how to best get the shot?

Our current position. This was at the San Diego International Airport. Sadly, we were headed back home... This was during me and my parents' outing down in SoCal, particularly around Carlsbad, CA....

***Our outing in summary: We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Carlsbad. We ate dinner at the Ichitaru Ramen place on our first night. The main attraction we visited is The Flower Fields the very next day… For over 60 years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. The 55-acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch in Carlsbad, CA, are in bloom for approximately 6-8 weeks each year, from early March thru early May, literally bringing the famous fields back to life. This annual burst of color, which has become part of the area’s local heritage, also is one of nature’s official ways of announcing the arrival of spring here in Southern California. We even rode the Tractor Wagon Ride to see the further reaches of the place. Right after, we left the place and ate lunch at the nearby Ruby’s Diner. We then proceeded to the Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park, checking out the history and scenery of the ranch. Then later, after resting a bit at the hotel, we went to eat dinner at Chandler’s Oceanfront Dining, our last evening here. The food was very delicious and the restaurant was just beautiful, with the Pacific Ocean right out front. We even got to see the sunset which was a nice way to end our last night here with a bang! By the next day, we stopped by Mission Bay around San Diego to eat our brunch (leftovers) and take in last minute scenery before heading to the San Diego International Airport to head back home… What a nice outing we had down in SoCal! ‘Til next time, safe travels!

Standing helm position raised by seven inches for visibility and easy access of side sliding window. Raised a further seven inches in center for adjustable pedestal for pilots seat

i like the contrast in cultural interpretations of gossip positions: the brits looking staid and proper.

Even the turtle doesn' t see how that can possibly be a comfortable way to sleep. Seems to work for the coot however.
