A client of mine is looking to add choreographed routines to their bi-monthly events. Info below

Thank you for your interest in the Cabaret Choreography Position!

L&H has 2 main venues, Love&Harmony Jazz Club with over 4000 active group members, and our new Orchide's Private Club.

Each venue hosts various events throughout the month, themed tribute concerts and much more along with an active ballroom.

CHOREOGRAPHY POSITION:

We are looking for a talented individual that can piece together "Cabaret" style routes 2 times a month (some routes can be used over and over on different dates with outfit changes I'm sure).

Support from venue will be provided for various items as needed (props, costumes, etc).

This isn't an "our venue" only position. If you perform and do choreography at another venue, that is great! We support everyone and just looking for something that can devote some time to putting on semi-regular routes at our venue.

Contact Orchide2 or Samual Wetherby if you have any questions.

Position: This photo was taken on the Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Solandra is a genus of flowering plants in the nightshade family, Solanaceae. It is named after the Swedish naturalist Daniel C. Solander. They have very large flowers and glossy foliage. Also called Cup of Gold.

Times so bad that even angels would wish to crouch and hide, others would prefer death to endless suffering, others again might wish to have never been born in the first place. So many men with guns pulling the religious traditions through the dirt. So much hypocrisy in the 'defence' of democracy; such a corrupted language defining the 'other'; so much violence masquerading as justified reactions. So little preparedness to step into the other's shoes. I could go on. However, when angels are helpless, and when violence is going to create even more violence, the foetal position is the wrong choice. We got to stand up and walk. What a cool scene I sensed here as I turned the corner first. As always, the people were helpful and so very nice. Many are rather curious, or let's put it this way, they pretend to be curious. (¬‿¬)

The composition was already clear to me, as I had already been here the day before and was able to memorize my position well. This photo is perhaps a little more sombre, but on closer inspection, the joy and colors here have by no means disappeared. Because these details, joy and color will always be part of my photos.

I love her art Hania Rani so young and so talented. The song Glass the video ♫ was recorded in Berlin and many sequences were shot in the district where I grew up. Speaking of Berlin, I may soon have something completely new from Berlin in terms of photography. But will that be something for Flickr? I'm not sure yet. Anyway, I won't have much time to share photos anytime soon, but I'll try to keep an eye on your excellent work.

My positioning for this shot, as you may have guessed from the title, was somewhat precarious. My tripod and I were perched on top of this MASSIVE, slick boulder resting along Raven Fork in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This amazing striated cascade was huge; each of the boulders you see in this shot are approximately car-sized or larger. The wide angle lens just doesn't always do justice towards capturing the immensity of objects when they are further out from the camera. Beneath me is the tumultuous water, and to my left (and down about 10 feet) is a very deep pool. I'm all for searching out the best position for the tripod and composition for the photo, but here the options were mostly limited by my location - thankfully my only option was a decent one, in my opinion! Recent rain made all these boulders very slick, also. Definitely an interesting position to be in!

Raven Fork is a large creek/stream/river that begins near Tricorner Knob on the AT and eventually flows down through the town of Cherokee, NC. Upstream from this location is backcountry site #47, while further downstream Enloe Creek enters Raven Fork and the two carve their way through a section known as 'The Gorges'. I'm trying to plan a trip exploring off-trail in this area for some not often seen shots. Backcountry site #47 is one of my favorites, if not my favorite, in the whole park. There are massive cascades/falls all through the river in the area. A brutal hike is required to get in. If you leave from Straight Fork Road, you have about 3 miles (not that long) but about 1800' up then another 1000' down. If you leave from Smokemont, it's about 8 or 9 miles including a steep climb up the Chasteen Creek Trail and down the Enloe Creek Trail. It's worth the effort though!

2020 New version!

Citadel, Berat , Albania

The Onufri National Museum of Icons is located in the inhabited quarter of Berat Castle. This museum contains a rich iconographic collection and some religious service items. It is housed in a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary, built in 1797 on the foundation of an older church with the same name.

It features the work of perhaps the most remarkable Albanian iconographic painter, Onufri, active during the 16th century. His pieces are notable for the great realism and individuality introduced into his subject’s facial expressions and body positions, breaking with the strict conventions of the time. He was also the first to introduce the color pink into icon painting. The secret behind making this color was not passed on and died with him. His works are also noted for their intense use of colors and use of natural dyes.

Edinburgh Castle is a historic fortress which dominates the skyline of the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, from its position on the Castle Rock. Archaeologists have established human occupation of the rock since at least the Iron Age (2nd century AD), although the nature of the early settlement is unclear. There has been a royal castle on the rock since at least the reign of David I in the 12th century, and the site continued to be a royal residence until 1633. From the 15th century the castle's residential role declined, and by the 17th century it was principally used as military barracks with a large garrison. Its importance as a part of Scotland's national heritage was recognised increasingly from the early 19th century onwards, and various restoration programmes have been carried out over the past century and a half. As one of the most important strongholds in the Kingdom of Scotland, Edinburgh Castle was involved in many historical conflicts from the Wars of Scottish Independence in the 14th century to the Jacobite Rising of 1745. Research undertaken in 2014 identified 26 sieges in its 1100-year-old history, giving it a claim to having been "the most besieged place in Great Britain and one of the most attacked in the world".

Few of the present buildings pre-date the Lang Siege of the 16th century, when the medieval defences were largely destroyed by artillery bombardment. The most notable exceptions are St Margaret's Chapel from the early 12th century, which is regarded as the oldest building in Edinburgh, the Royal Palace and the early-16th-century Great Hall, although the interiors have been much altered from the mid-Victorian period onwards. The castle also houses the Scottish regalia, known as the Honours of Scotland and is the site of the Scottish National War Memorial and the National War Museum of Scotland. The British Army is still responsible for some parts of the castle, although its presence is now largely ceremonial and administrative. Some of the castle buildings house regimental museums which contribute to its presentation as a tourist attraction.

The castle, in the care of Historic Scotland, is Scotland's most-visited paid tourist attraction, with over 1.4 million visitors in 2013.

As the backdrop to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo during the annual Edinburgh International Festival the castle has become a recognisable symbol of Edinburgh and of Scotland and indeed, it is Edinburgh's most frequently visited visitor attraction—according to the Edinburgh Visitor Survey, more than 70% of leisure visitors to Edinburgh visited the castle.

today i positioned two new arches front and centre, easy to assemble www.diy.com/departments/kingfisher-warch-decorative-garde...

the front arch had to be replaced as it was collapsing, too many fat squirrels bouncing around :) the back arch is fine and remains

i added the centre arch so that i wouldn't need the poles and wood to hang things that i had on the previous design flic.kr/p/2p6E8ND the ivy covering the tree will gradually intertwine through both arches back and centre

the honeysuckle seems to have survived the changeover and is draped over the new front arch as it used to be, time will tell

plenty of signs of life in the garden, much to look forward to ...

for many years my garden was a shrubbery flic.kr/p/Lhv9ag which i loved. a picket fence covered in an ivy hedge coming down in a storm flic.kr/p/2gnCyih meant that over time changes had to happen flic.kr/p/2mn2x8a i'll be glad when the trellis is covered in honeysuckle and jasmine. that's the plan ...
