Finally!
After I had some trouble with lightroom this weekend and all my data of the last couple days was lost, I finished the first couple of pictures of Jasmin yesterday (again). I will keep posting them over the next couple of days, because I can't decide which one is my favourite and I keep going back and forth between them you might see my Project 365 pick by the end of the set. I'll try to keep it to a reasonable amount of pictures, but I'm not sure that will work.
I got my Westcott 28'' Softbox just before I was heading out for the shoot and decided to bring it with me to try it out. That thing is great and did a beautiful job lighting her. It is way better (and bigger) then my Ebay-Easybox Softbox and works beautiful for Portraits.

Been so long since I made some digital artwork here is one portrait, which really confirms what I always say, good image quality in good quality image out.
Portrait practice - something more classy. Single source of natural light from window in front - I'm a big fan of natural light. :)
Shot with a Nikon D300S and a NIKKOR 50mm 1.4D lens.

The dog captured here was the most inquisitive of the pack, an ideal 'target' for some portrait shots.
Open safari vehicles have one disadvantage for close-up shots, though: you're up too high to get that 'look me in the eyes' perspective.
The dog stayed around long enough to try a different camera position: I managed to squeeze myself almost flat on the floor, shooting from the vehicle's door aperture to get exactly the angle I was hoping for!

He sells very colorful straw baskets. I got hem to agree to me taking he’s picture by buying one of the baskets he was selling, I told hem he could keep it.
The portrait was taken in TAXCO México.
I found that some times walking true the city you don’t necessarily see the people in the streets, the sales man the taxi driver the “cilindrero” the person that shines your shoes, the people that work in the street so I started this project.
Portraits of the people that work in the street out of there context. So that you can see them as people and not only as what they do. You can see more of this type of shots in the Album call Faces of Mexico, I hope you like them.
A portrait out of today's pleasure photoshooting. I really like the dreamy look.
