Keeping a promise I made to prima momma. :)
This one was relatively easy, so I think I'm going to avoid kids' portraits for the near future: I've done so many of them, they offer little challenge. There are only two notable mistakes in this work—the position of it on the sheet (can't be observed here), and the forehead that is a little too high. Bella is already a bit of a doll, so a taller forehead makes her look positively angelic. :)

I wanted to take a self-portrait with my new nose piercing, which is also one of my 28th birthday presents. I'm happy with how this one turned out, but I'm not sure how well it highlights the nose piercing. Oh well!

Hillary has a knitting and sewing blog and she let me try out to be her photographer. I'm not very good at portrait photography so this will be a challenge for me. She has a very effervescent personality. I was trying to show that and the coat and top that she made.
A Self Portrait Without You In It (equipment: Canon 1Ds, Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8; exposure: 1/80s, f/2.8, ISO 800)
Ok. So can we just say this was taken on Sunday 6/15? It's been one of those days. I woke up with a slight headache, and spent the day at work feeling blurry. You may know the feeling, not quite awake, unsteady, off-kilter, but considering I remember drinking at least 5 different kinds of beer, tequila, and a few other shots of questionable content, I got off easy compared with the other peeps I was out with. After work I went to spend some time with a friend, and I tried to take a pic with my cell phone, before midnight, but it was too dark - and so at 2am, you have this. Why the expression, you ask? I found myself wondering exactly who have I been the last few days?
