I spent most of the day cleaning today. There was some much cleaning that needed to be done too. I feel so relieved to have most everything in order.
I am so over people adding this pic in their favorites who are weirdos. If you have a bunch of fetish pics in your stream or you just seem kinda creepy, I will block you!!!

1 sb-700 at 1/16th power in a DIY-Photography ringflash, triggered with a sync cord.
On our way from Stockholm,
Started to snow.
And you said it was like Christmas,
But you were wrong,
It wasn't like Christmas at all.
By the time we got to Oslo,
Snow was gone,
And we got lost.
The beds were small,
But we felt so young;
It was just like Christmas.
Low.
While i would never decorate my house quite like this myself, I'm always impressed by the people that go to this much trouble.
Obligatory (and nearly impromptu) Easter portrait of my boys. Unmodified except for a slight vignette.
Lighting: beauty dish + two gridded accents.
This is far from perfect, but it'll do, given the challenges of photographing active little boys. :)
The idea for this shot came to me as a response to Abigail Harenberg's "Snow Angel" portrait (http://www.flickr.com/photos/abbyharenberg/4346266599/).
Latest headshot session with my wife Jill kindly standing in as the model... Used 2 Nikons SB 9xx (1 x 900 and 1 x 910), key light was an umbrella shot through at 45 degrees left and above the model. Reflector was placed on right at 45 degrees and below the model. The 2nd Speedlite was used to illuminate the white sheet for the background. Used D800 and CLS to fire flashes, and light postprocessing in LR4.2
