STROBISTS: Men in foreground are lit with 2 Hensel monolights at 45-degree angles on the right & left, shooting into umbrella reflector. Kicker light behind screen is a Nikon SB-800 triggered with optical slave & shot through a white umbrella at approx. 1/2 power.

This is an old lighthouse. It was originally commissioned by one George Washington & was built in 1789.

Portland Bill Lighthouse guides vessels heading for Portland and Weymouth through hazardous waters as well as acting as a waymark for ships navigating the English Channel.

The most amazing find on Chesil Beech was a family of 4 hare ... it's really hard to sneak up on hare when you're walking on shingle! So only a hint of hare in the shot below :)

"As time went on we saw less and less of Teddy and Vern, until eventually they became just two more faces in the halls. It happens sometimes. Friends come in and out of your life like busboys in a restaurant. I heard that Vern got married out of high school, had four kids, and is now the forklift operator at the Arsenault lumberyard. Teddy tried several times to get into the Army, but his eyes and ear kept him out. The last time I'd heard, he'd spent some time in jail. He was now doing odd jobs around Castle Rock."
