They nest in marshes of the far north and migrate in flocks...likely 100 of them together in the marsh today.

2 week old Lion cubs born at Northwood Ranch. This is the first time these little ones were handled by Ranch owner. www.northwoodranch.com/
During the 19th century, many villages and small towns across North Amercia constructed municipal meeting halls which served as political and social centres for their communities.
This is a particularly fine example of the type.
Still around today the Town Hall was completed in 1873 to celebrate the opening of a rail link to Lake Ontario, an event which appeared to herald the economic triumph of Port Perry over other nearby communities.
Noteworthy for its commanding site, the quality of its design and interior finishes; this building testifies to the vision and optimism of its sponsors.
Tomitheos 24 hour b&w series 12 of 12
I find watching wild animals in a zoo a somewhat a sad experience especially so because in the future the zoo might be the only way some species can survive The Northwood Buffalo & Exotic Animal Ranch is a refuge that shelters mistreated captured wildlife and unwanted exotic pets.
The Highlight of my evening visit to the ranch was the sounds the animals made at dusk. The cry of this monkey was nerve shattering imagine trying to keep it in a condo ( a good lease breaker if you rent).
The almost subsonic challenging roar of the lion with one lioness reinforcing in harmony followed by echo from the king of the other pride hits you right in the chest, spectacular unforgettable!
Some of the rest of the shots are in a PDF slide show. I will add more when the B&W film is developed. Best to download first for full screen viewing. rraz.ca/Northwood.pdf
This MP3 can also be played in a loop while viewing the PDF, the quality is not that good as it was recorded on my cell phone. rraz.ca/Northwood.mp3
Seen at the "Brits by the lake" shoe in "Port Perry" Ontario Canada. Regrettably, the flash burned out the name on the tank in this photo. One of only four bikes at the show.

I remember seeing one of these back in the day they were new and thought is one of the most beautiful cars I had ever see. I still do. Saw this today at the British Car show on the main street of Port Perry, Ontario. It was pelting down rain most of the time we were there, but the folks who brought out their cars pretty much stayed there. As one guy put it, he came to Canada about 19 years ago, When he lived in England, it was kind of expected that car shows would get rained on, so he felt quite at home in this weather!
