A new recolour, to me anyway, of the impressive Welly Porsche Macan Turbo. So much effort goes into these low priced 1/60 Welly products it really is a travesty that they aren't better distributed. Certainly in the UK they are now a very rare sight despite their larger scale offerings being much more readily available! Found recently in a Super U. Mint and boxed.
The Porsche Macan is seemingly becoming more popular than its larger Cayenne sibling though this hasn't yet filtered down to the toy makers who continue to prefer the Cayenne in their respective line ups. Thankfully Welly have stepped up to the mark with their own little 1/64 Macan Turbo and predictably it looks sensational for the price! A highly accurate looking casting which is beautifully detailed and well finished. Mint and boxed.

After making its debut last year as a Chase model it was inevitable the Matchbox Porsche Macan would get a slot as a proper basic mainline release. A dazzling metallic Burnt Orange colour is certainly not understated but who buys a Porsche Macan to blend into the background!
Matchbox did a great job with all their Cayenne castings and haven't disappointed with its little brother. Well proportioned and featuring full on front and rear detailing.

Unusually for a new casting the Matchbox Porsche Macan actually debuted as a Super Chase and thus for most collectors wasn't attainable and only now does it enter the basic mainline for all to grab.
The real Macan has been a big success for Porsche, its certainly a common sight here in the UK, so its definitely a worthwhile addition to the Matchbox line up and one they've replicated nicely. No cheapo plastic one piece upper body here, lots of curvy metal and a whole lot of glorious metallic Burnt Orange paint colour as well as the usual high standards of front and rear tampo detailing.

Agency Power has these new carbon fiber bits available for the Porsche Macan S and Macan Turbo. They include the carbon fiber rear diffuser and rear waist spoiler. The 3 piece waist spoiler fits on the hatch to give the rear end of the Macan a little more shape. It is applied using 3M tape so ...
