Gorgeous piano in a gorgeous setting. Note the plant wall behind the piano. Unfortunately no one was playing it.
A pop-up box with four origami architecture scenes, one per side. The base of the box is 4 inches by 4 inches. Each of the 4 figures is approximately 1.5 inches in width.
Viv picked up a popup construction book at the book fair, and of course Julian wanted one, so I used the handy dandy camera to take a pic. Traced the lines out in Inkscape, printed on thick paper, and cut it out with a razor. Yeah, it took a while, but it looked nice. Didn't ask for more, either.
The former post office was converted into a pub for the night by Antic (who will be opening a pub here sometime in 2011)
Uniqlo is finally here in San Francisco! While their first West Coast store on Powell St. is not scheduled to open until the Fall season, Uniqlo has opened a pop-up store on Post St. I went and took a peek one Saturday after I heard the good news from my friends Edward and Jojo. Is there such a thing called Uniqlo-phile? Maybe I am. (Uniqlo blog @ Balitang SF)
