Walrus Man is another strange Kenner interpretation. But hey as a kid I really didn't care. I had another a bad guy. The POTF version of this Ponda was pretty good also. Hasbro did a nice job on this Ponda. The arm is removable to look like Obi-Wan cut it off. There are interchangeable hands, the harry hands or the round cup hands. And as goofy looking the Kenner one may be it still is cool to me.

Sahakari Spice Farm

Sculpt by enaud.

Body is a modified BBi 3.0... though it's hard to tell that I tried shortening him. Hands are from the Hasbro 12" Ponda Baba/Walrusman and his outfit is an Action Man jumpsuit redyed.

I washed me paws after touchin' them boxes, I can tell yew! One's a pikchur of a weddin' an' the uvver's a pikchur of two munks paintin' a pikchur of a man in a red dress. But 'e's fallen asleep an' there laffin' at im. Dad's bin bissy doin' a ginormous pussle an' I'll show it to yew in a day or two - if Mum don't knock it on the floor first..."

Shri Mangesh -- also popularly known as Mangireesh or Manguesh-- is the Presiding Diety at one of Goa's most prominent temples. Shri Mangesh is the Kuladevata (family deity) of millions of Hindu GSBs around the world.

The temple of Shri Mangesh is set amidst natural beauty and pleasant surroundings. Mangeshi, a little village along Goa's Panaji-Ponda road is not only a point of pilgrimage for the followers of the Lord, it attracts hundreds of tourists from all over India and abroad.

Really, why can't her father use the paper in the corner of the room like the rest of the family?

Tjörnin Pond is a prominent small lake in central Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland. Most visitors to the city pass along its shore, as it is situated in the city centre next to the Reykjavik City Hall and several museums. Tjörnin means "the lake" or "the pond". Tarn, meaning "mountain lake", is a northern English dialect word derived from the Norse word tjörn and its genitive/plural tjarnar. Bird feeding on the lake shore, a popular pastime, has led to the lake being called "the biggest bread soup in the world".

Tjörnin was the setting for scenes in the 2010 Icelandic movie Gauragangur.

A decoration of Deepas / Diyas / Pradeeps / Lamps on Tulasi leaves inside the main Sanctum Sanctorum @ Shri Mahalaxmi Temple Ponda, Goa, India - on the Full Moon night. We consider offering Puja on this day as very big Virtue which will purify our soul and eradicate all the evil spirits.

Idols of Goddess Laxmi & Lord Narayana will be taken out in a mandrawn Chariot for Pradakhshina (taking rounds) around the Temple and then for traditional Puja & Rituals on the Lake inside the Temple premises having 10 rounds in the water in a very beautiful boat.

On this ocassion 100000 Diyas or Lamps are lighted inside the Temple and decorated. Fantastic & wonderful scene & atmosphere. This ocassion happened on the day of Full Moon when the Moon resided at Mrigashira Star.

This temple is situated about 4kms east of Ponda. Mahalaxmi is the Goddess of power and strength. She is believed to be an incarnation of Adishakti and worshipped by the Saraswats who belonged to the Shakti cult. The special feature of this deity is that she wears Lingam, a symbol of Lord Siva, on her head. Many believe that this Goddess of tremendous strength and power, was released when the devas and the rakshasas were churning the ocean for amrita. The migrating Saraswats to Goa who had brought the Mahalaxmi idol with them, built a temple at Bhandawad village. The majority of the Saraswats, however, was then living at Tiswadi and Sasasti Talukas and had to cross a river and travel a long distance to worship the deity.

So they shifted the idol to Colva, just six kilometers from Madgaon and established another Mahalaxmi temple, on the banks of the Arabian Sea. Legend has it that she was a favorite deity of the Kadambas and the Shilaharas, an ancient dynasty that ruled Goa. The temple was moved from Colva, in Salcette taluka around the inquisition to save it from destruction by the Portuguese. The "Sabhamantap" or the main hall of the temple contains a gallery of 18 wooden images of Lord Vishnu, one of the rarest collections of its kind in the country. The deity is the Kuldevata of Kaushika, Kashyapa, Vatsa, and Bharadwaja Gothras.

The temple is considered the abode of the orginal goddess of the Shakti cult. The temple showcases 24 images out which 12 images are emanatory aspects of Bhagvata sect. These images are counted amongst the few galleries of Vishnu in India. The image of Mahalaxmi has a close resemblance to that of Mahalaxmi at Kolhapur. Speciality of this temple is its beautiful chowka which is famous for its grandeur and beauty. The Goddess Mahalakshmi was worshipped by the Shilahara rulers (750-1030 A. D.) and the early Kadamba Kings of Goa.

Been working on this in my new style. I used existing pieces with some decals to make this cmf series, which includes Dexter Jettser, Jocasta Nu, a 501st ARF trooper, Palpatine from Episode 9, Phase 2 Commander Cody, Din Djarin with the classic Boba Fett pieces, Doctor Evazan and Ponda Baba, Anakin in his Clone Wars armor, A Kaminoan, Wat Tambor, Cal Kestis, Ahsoka in her CW Season 7 attire, Admiral Yularen in his CW Season 7 outfit, a 501st Ahsoka trooper, and Dryden Vos. This was a lot of fun to make, so let me know if you want a series 2!

Hasbro - Star Wars Black Series Has Con 2021 Cantina Showdown

with Dr. Evazan, Ponda Baba, and Obi-Wan Kenobi

Shown with: Momaw Nadon, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Jawa, Modal Nodes Figrin D-an and Nalan Cheel, & Greedo

Still need an extra: Han Solo

Ponda's head and Johnson's plasma rifle are the only surviving members of a sculpting kick I was on back in 2009.

Over the years I've become quite the collector of found photographs, particularly passport shots (it's surprising how many you find when looking for them). Now, whilst the photo in the picture isn't a passport photo I did pick it up on my travels as I absolutely loved it. Just look the way the pair of them seem relaxed yet at the same time rather hostile. So after having the photo by my computer for quite a while I eventually decided to use it on a piece that had been forming in my head. Whenever I looked at the photo two things always came to mind, the first being the scene in Star Wars in the Mos Eisley cantina:

[Ponda Baba gives Luke a rough shove and starts yelling at Luke in an alien language which Luke doesn't understand]

Dr. Evazan: [explaining] He doesn't like you.

Luke: Sorry.

Dr. Evazan: [grabbing Luke] *I* don't like you either. You just watch yourself. We're wanted men. I have the death sentence on twelve systems.

Luke: I'll be careful.

Dr. Evazan: You'll be dead!

Obi-Wan: [intervening] This little one's not worth the effort. Come, let me get you something.

[Dr. Evazan shoves Luke across the room and pulls out a blaster]

Bartender: No blasters! No blasters!

[Obi-Wan ignites his lightsaber, killing Dr. Evazan and severing Ponda Baba's arm]

The other is a friends favourite insult of 'Go fuck yourself' mainly because he looks like the guy sitting back taking it easy in the photo even if the guy does look considerably older. Eventually I decided on the second scenario for the inspiration for the piece.

Cheers
