Jockey Club Innovation Tower is a 76 m high building of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University located in Kowloon. It was designed by Zaha Hadid and inaugurated in 2013.
Jockey Club Innovation Tower is a building of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. It was designed by Pritzker-prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Innovation_Tower)
The Jockey Club Innovation Tower is home to Hong Kong Polytechnic University 's School of Design and is the new driving force in the development of Hong Kong as a design hub in Asia… It has 15,000 square metres of net floor area and can accommodate about 1,800 staff and students… “The fluid character of the Innovation Tower is generated through an intrinsic composition of its landscape, floor plates and louvers that dissolves the classic typology of the tower and the podium into an iconic seamless piece. These fluid internal and external courtyards create new public spaces of an intimate scale which complement the large open exhibition forums and outdoor recreational facilities to promote a diversity of civic spaces.” - Zaha Hadid, Architect, Innovation Tower (www.sd.polyu.edu.hk/en/j.c.-innovation-tower/the-architec...)

ROAMING in thought over the Universe, I saw the
little that is Good
steadily hastening towards immortality,
And the vast all that is call'd Evil I saw
hastening to merge itself
and become lost and dead.
As consequent from store of summer rains,
Or wayward rivulets in autumn flowing,
Or many a herb-lined brook's reticulations,
Or subterranean sea-rills making for the sea,
Songs of continued years I sing.
Life's ever-modern rapids first, (soon, soon to blend,
With the old streams of death.)

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay.
RACE of veterans! Race of victors!
Race of the soil, ready for conflict! race of
the conquering march!
(No more credulity's race, abiding-temper'd
race;)
Race henceforth owning no law but the law of
itself;
Race of passion and the storm.
Wind we, wind swiftly
Our warwinning woof.
When sword-bearing rovers
To banners rush on,
Mind, maidens, we spare not
One life in the fray!
We corse-choosing sisters
Have charge of the slain.
Some protestors are attempted to take cover during the 2019-20 Hong Kong protests. This specific event depicts the Chinese University of Hong Kong conflict as protestors set up roadblocks, disrupting traffic and facilitated strikes. It started on November the 11th and ended on the 15th in the same month. Protestors threw objects onto the railway tracks near the University station from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. As a result the police started to shoot pepper bullets and waves of tear gas. On the next day, clashes started between the two groups that lasted for an entire day.
The HKPF started to storm into the campus to conduct arrests, while the protestors in turn threw petrol bombs. As the night fall, the vice-chancellor and president of the CUHK arrived at the scene to seek meditation with the police, but they rejected any form of negotiation. As a result the conflict escalated into widespread protests in various parts of the city in an attempt to distract the attention of the police. More than 70 students were injured during the whole ordeal.
The protestors occupied the university for a brief moment from 13 to 15 november where they proceed to set up barricades and used makeshift weapons inside the university campuses. Other universities also barricaded their schools. The most famous one is the PolyU which was besieged by the police on the 17th of november.
As the counts of allegations of misconduct by the Hong Kong Police Force continue to rise and the government stance of ignoring the 5 demands of the protests, violence from both sides has escalated at a fast rate. The death of Chow Tsz Lok, who met his end after failing one floor in a car park, resulted into a widespread anger in Hong Kong, while his initial cause of death is unknown, the protestors accused the police of obstructing medics from attending him, resulting that his treatment came too late. The protestors called for a general strike that would be facilitated by obstructing the traffic during rush hours. It was dubbed as ‘’Operation Dawn’’ by the demonstrators which involved several protestors of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
While not as famous as the siege of PolyU, this was just an appraiser of what was going to happen. While opinions were divided among various factions of the protestors regarding the effectiveness of this strategy and the overall handling of the situation, with some students wanting to leave while some wanted to stay. Over the course of the university sieges, up to a 1000 protestors were arrested which was a setback for the overall movement.
This picture is obviously based on the iconic picture taken during that day where a group of protestors were taking cover while waving the ‘’Liberate Hong Kong’’ flag and surrounded by tear gas.
This conflict was depicted for a short moment in an animation I made about the Hong Kong protests, the link that said animation can be found below:

You've heard all about Japan's capsule hotels. Well, here's the very first capsule architecture which gave birth to the concept, still fully intact and operational as offices and residential space in Shimbashi. Designed by Kisho Kurokawa, the Nakagin Capsule Tower was built between 1970 and 1972. Each of these little concrete 'boxes' is a fully self-contained unit, equipped with bed, tv/radio console, bathroom, and closet. (See more info on the construction).

Within each mining rush there is typically a transition through progressively higher capital expenditures, larger organizations, and more specialized knowledge. They may also progress from high-unit value to lower unit value minerals (from gold to silver to base metals).
A rush typically begins with the discovery of placer gold made by an individual. At first the gold may be washed from the sand and gravel by individual miners with little training, using a gold pan or similar simple instrument. Once it is clear that the volume of gold-bearing sediment is larger than a few cubic metres, the placer miners will build rockers or sluice boxes, with which a small group can wash gold from the sediment many times faster than using gold pans.
