I spent some time in the Polynesian Lobby on Wednesday, and I have to say I quite liked it. As I've said before on other social media platforms, when I saw the smaller water feature (yes, there's water in it) and the glass-ball lights, I knew it would be very photogenic, and spending time low to the ground with an ultra-wide angle lens told me that my instincts were right!
Pollination is the process by which pollen is transferred to the female reproductive organs of a plant, thereby enabling fertilization to take place. Like all living organisms, seed plants have a single major purpose: to pass their genetic information on to the next generation.

In the morning of Wednesday 5 July 2023 a violent summer storm named Poly caused a lot of damage in the Netherlands. Especially in Haarlem, where a woman died when a tree fell on her car.
This storm was the most powerful summer storm ever recorded in the Netherlands, with wind gusts of 146 km/h.

I received a small present last week, a small Christmas tree, made of poly. It has a small green LED in the trunk, making the whole tree glow. Great prop for today's ODC challenge.
For this picture, I used 55 different pictures of this same tree, all blended together.

That is the question. Saved the seed from a very promising street mango, hoping that it would be polyembryonic and bear seedlings true to mother plant. But this seed appears to be monoembryonic. Monoembryonic mango seeds have a single, unsegmented mass with two large cotyledons. So a monoembryonic mango seed it is.
