South Yorkshire Police - YN16 BFO BMW 330d District Response Car.This rather lovely BMW 3 Series replaces YJ62 FKV an old Vauxhall Insignia and is now the new district response vehicle for Doncaster. Quite an upgrade in sure you'll agree!

...especially with the war on terror it seems like the amateur and hostile police work (the type which only creates more hassle for normal folks without seriously reducing terrorist activity) achieves whats in the picture. The cop car keeps the coned area free of terrorists while the rest whizz happily past. I mean what is the cop really doing. Having a doughnut? Listening to Lil Kim? Watching for illegal photographers? Watching for suspicious white vans filled with explosives or plumbing equipment? Watching for speeders (unlikely given that the cones prevent exit) Hanging out to intimidate and be present?
Nevertheless I liked the light streams from the cars emerging from the two levels of the Verrazano-Narrows bridge...

A seized Camaro dedicated to the fallen Ohio State Troopers by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Troopers Association. This vehicle was spotted on the streets of Washington D.C. during Police Week 2010.
A Toyota Hi-Lux D-4d used by the Collision Investigation Unit of Northumbria Police, is seen here heading for its base. This vehicle's now most of the way through its working life and should be replaced in approximately 18 months.

The original Space Police reused the torso from the black clad Futuron figure so I've used the new Space Police torso to do the reverse!
She is joined by the green Futuron guy from a few years ago and the 2020 Creator space figure.
Criminals with ever faster spacecraft led the police to ask Llwyngwril Systems to design their sleekest, fastest interceptor ship. Originally named "Caledfwlch", the ship was the sword of justice bringing righteous retribution across the galactic disc (or something like that. We copied the last bit out of the sales brochure).

Forgot that while in Budapest we visited the Red Star trainyard but there were loads of people around. We found this one while skulking around that had a full police boardroom in the one carriage. It was too narrow to get a decent photo though.

Quick shot from the hip, someone "assisting" the police with their enquiries, as they say, looked like a car pulled over for a word, very quick and dirty snap as I was walking by
long exposure of a state trooper going to back up another trooper who had a car run on him after he had the car pulled over! It looks awesome, you can see the individual placement of the LED strobes and how the yellow lights alternate placement

2008 Crown Victoira Police Interceptor, This unit is equipped with one of the first LED lightbars SDPD tested, a Whelen Liberty. Only 2-3 cars have Whelen lightbars in the fleet. Most have Federal Signal lightbars. This vehicle was seen on the convention center floor for IACP 2008 and is also the only car in patrol with hood vents.

There are two of the old Police "Blue Lamps" illuminated outside the Taunton Police Station. The wet pavement helped with the lighting of this scene.
