The ramp of Lufthansa Technik at Hamburg Airport was the ramp for helicopters of the Federal Police of Germany and state police.
The Federal Police Helicopter Training Unit trains all Police helicopter pilots in Germany.
These young pilots and their instructors conduct a flight across Germany with stop overs at different airports.
One issue during these flights is formation flying, navigation skills etc.
EC135, EC145 and EC155 could be spotted at Hamburg. Beside Federal Police Helicopters (D-HLTL, D-HVBE, D-HVBF, D-HVBX, D-HVBU) there were Helicopters from Bayern (D-HBPE), Thüringen (D-HTHC), Sachsen (D-HSNE) and Brandenburg (D-HBBZ)

Well - where is a Police Car when you need one ????
The Saturday Challenge is Bokeh Balls this week and for one reason or another getting out there and looking for them has not been easy . Therefore this silly idea came to me to have a police car come smashing through whole lot of blue lights in bokeh . I had a string of blue lights knocking about , so a shot of them out of focus was easy enough but have I seen a police car to get a shot of - no ?? Well I made this with a shot of police cars parked up about five or so years ago - so here is my imagination at work . However , the shot of the police cars is old so will not do for the challenge , so here it is just as a normal post today .
As it happens though , by chance for a shot for SSC did crop up last night - so all is not lost !!
Watch out !! Here comes the blues & twos !!

The Police were a British rock band formed in London in 1977. For most of their history the band consisted of Sting (lead vocals, bass guitar, primary songwriter), Andy Summers (guitar) and Stewart Copeland (drums, percussion). The Police became globally popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Emerging in the British new-wave scene, they played a style of rock influenced by punk, reggae, and jazz. Considered one of the leaders of the Second British Invasion of the US, in 1983 Rolling Stone labelled them "the first British New Wave act to break through in America on a grand scale, and possibly the biggest band in the world." The Police disbanded in 1986, but reunited in early 2007 for a one-off world tour that ended in August 2008. (From Wikipedia)

The Police Bazaar in Shillong, Meghalaya, India. I've never tasted such amazing bananas, mangos or pineapples as those in India.
December 13th is the anniversary of the martial law introduced in Poland in 1981 by the communist regime. A peaceful protest rally was organised in Warsaw by the Women's Strike (Strajk Kobiet). It ended near the villa of the country de facto ruler, Jarosław Kaczyński, which was "defended" by 82 police vans and riot police in full gear. The irony is dead.
This is Adelaide Police Horse~~ but they are very friendly when I was there taking photos for them~~ well educated! :-)))
(And Yes, I did ask their permission before taking this picture. I didn't really want any of them shooting back!)

We support our police around here, but we also realize that in most cases of assault, they won't be available to protect us and will just be report takers. To my way of thinking, it's incumbent on all of us to always be in a position to protect our homes and families.
I just acquired a new PDW for use in the house. The Sig red dot has a motion sensor that turns it on when the weapon is picked up. I've added a Streamlight since the photo.
