Brickyard Point is the rock shelf just north of Austinmer. The headland in the background is Bells Point. A rising tide and a 1.5m swell gave these consistent waterfalls into the channel. Lots of time to work on different comps which is unusual.

POINT OF AYRE
ILE DE MAN
The main light at Point of Ayre was established in 1818, but some 70 years later it was found necessary to build an additional small light tower some 250 yards seaward from the main tower. Due to continuous gravel build-up, this tower moved a further 250ft seaward in 1951, and now stands out on the gravel bank. This light is referred to as the "Winkie".

A Montreal landmark is Windmill Point which juts out into Lac St. Louis and includes an old Windmill and a Monastery. It is a favourite place for artists to sketch, paint, photograph or just visit along the West Island area of Montreal, both in summer and winter. It is located in the old Village of Pointe Claire.
There are some beautiful trees along the Rim Trail near Lipan Point at the Grand Canyon. The park is currently closed as a result of the pandemic but will be doing a phased re-opening soon.
Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!

With lockdowns being eased, the lads from work and I decided to start the climbing season with a small climb up a Corbett called Morrone. 1.5 miles doesn't sound too far, but it's all uphill so it might take a while!
Pigeon Point Lighthouse, one of the tallest on the U.S. West Coast, was built in 1872 to warn ships of the treacherous coast, inspired by the 1853 wreck of the clipper Carrier Pigeon (hence the name) and several subsequent deadly shipwrecks, including the Coya. Now an active Coast Guard aid, the lighthouse tower is undergoing major restoration but still functions, while the keeper's quarters serve as a hostel, making it a historic landmark rich in maritime history and natural beauty.

River Point, previously known as 200 North Riverside Plaza, is a 52 story 730 ft. tall skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois, located at 444 West Lake Street. The 52-story building has 1,000,000 sq ft of floor space. It sits on air rights above active railroad tracks and as well the subway portion of the CTA Blue Line, which affected the angle of some support columns, which in turn produced the parabolic arch in the base of the building.
These female Tule elk and their offspring were seen in a Tule elk refuge location in Point Reyes National Seashore, California.
It was a foggy day, so it helped photographically to get fairly close to these beautiful creatures.
The map location is only very approximate, as I was taken to this location by a guide.
