A comissão especial do impeachment contra a presidente Dilma Rousseff (PT) no Senado elegeu nesta terça-feira (26/04) seu presidente e relator.

O senador Zeze Perrella se mostrou contrariado com a situação de tentarem impedir o senador Antônio Anastasia (PSDB-MG) de ser o relator da comissão do impeachment. "Eu acho um absurdo colocarem qualquer suspeição sobre o professor Anastasia, somente pelo fato dele ser do PSDB. É implicância somente, se fosse eu o indicado eles iriam dizer -esse não pode porque é amigo do Anastasia e amigo do Aécio, eles só aceitariam se fosse alguém deles.", disse Perrella.

A eleição para a relatoria gerou mais de duas horas de debates entre os senadores, mas acabou sendo confirmado o nome de Anastasia como relator da comissão de impeachment do Senado, eleito pela maioria com 10 votos a favor.

An heirloom maple that is in my parents yard this beautiful Easter Sunday. Have a wonderful HMM.

A pod of orca including a large male, 3 females, and a juvenile. Quite the fantastic bonus to see during a whale-watching trip out of Kaikōura! Fewer than 200 orca live around New Zealand's coast, making seeing them a real treat.

There are plenty of poppy seed pods still left in the garden despite the freezing conditions!

Asclepias syriaca - As October ends, milkweed pods finish drying out and split open, releasing flat, brown seeds carried aloft by a white, silky fuzz known as milkweed floss.

The seeds, each with long, white flossy hairs, occur in large pods. This was growing in our backyard in Carmel, New York.

As we sailed into the inlet to tender. A few pods of dolphins followed us in to port.

I think this is an iris seed pod. The last remnants of the previous year's flowers.
