North Island Volcanic Plug 28 Oct 2005
We hiked up a volcanic plug we saw while driving. I glimpsed it, and said to myself: "I wonder how to get up there." We took a small road and navigatedto the base, with less trouble than I thought (and much less than Mary Ellen thought.) We pulled off to the side and hike up on a farm path, cows had been around and through some of the fences. Eventully we came to a gate and were on public land. We walked up hill, saw some interesting lichens, and frerns. We also found a little cave, perhaps it was a vent from the volcano long ago. We also saw a large-diameter fig (ficus) tree. We spent about an hour going up and down, it was good to stretch our legs.

This is on the same breaker as the "A" christmas lights plug, but I wanted a different GFCI so that I could still run my shop light and tools even if the other one popped.

Plug Bug Pacifier Clips attach to your baby's outfit on one end and the opposite end snaps around the pacifier handle. It is a stylish way to keep your baby's pacifier from falling on the floor or getting lost. Plug Bugs are convenient since they save you time from looking for lost pacifiers, along with saving your back from having to bend over to pick up the pacifier off the floor every time your child spits it out.
Plug Bugs can also to wrapped around the handle of a stroller by clipping the Plug Bug to itself.
In addition, a small, light baby toy that has a loop clip attached to it can be used with the Plug Bug to create a single toy mobile. Snap the Plug Bug around the loop clip on toy. Then, clip the opposite end of Plug Bug to the stroller canopy.
