Notice the spots on my negatives. Yeah, every negative I've EVER gotten back from this particular LOCAL developing company has had damage done to it in some form or other.

This is what happens when I get drunk at a gig. Sometimes I take photos of guitars, amps or even the musicians - but this time I was captivated by these plugs. I must take their photo - I must!

Not a bright red, these old "red" rubber handlebar plugs are a perfect match for the brick-red color of Mafac brake lever half-hoods. The black, red or white Velox plugs were once very common. I suspect they were always intended to match the stock colors used for the hoods of Mafac brake levers.
Some of the rarest Velox plugs I've seen were the very light blue which would match the equally rare Mafac hoods of the 1950s... and which were often seen on custom built French bikes of a similar color.
Caught the little fella playing around with my mini amp. Danbo had plugged himself in and made his eyes light up - how we laughed afterwards ;)
