Got inspired by Henri-Cartier Bresson to shoot a photo where there is a man in the photo that is blurred. Tell me what you think about this :)
My first time to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station and probably my last time there before it closes down and the land gets repossessed by the Singapore Government. This place is quite old and run down but being one of last few railway stations in Singapore, it is quite special.
I went there with a friend to shoot photos and when i stepped onto the tracks to shoot a photo, the station officer stopped me and told me to get onto the platform. So most of the photos you see from this set will mostly be from 1 perspective :(
Photos are all processed in Silver Efex Pro 2 and the photos of the tracks are HDR images.

Working with refugees and their host communities:
Since the invasion of Ukraine started in February 2021, an influx of men, women and children have arrived to the borders of countries like Romania, Poland, Hungary and Germany to flee from violence and conflict. This situation has also activated empathy, solidarity and action from hosting communities, willing to take a step forward to support their neighbors.
Since the early 1990s, Ashoka Fellow Jorg Richert has worked on integrating and empowering youth from marginalised backgrounds, creating a safe space for street children and youth to, step-by-step, regain their confidence and find their role in society.
More recently, he has adapted this model to successfully welcome and host refugees from Ukraine. As shown in the photos, soon after the crisis began, Jorg and his team matched refugees arriving at the Berlin main station with German residents willing to accommodate them.
He also co-initiated an online platform for shelter for all people in crisis-related need: unterkunft-ukraine.de/

Green Bay, part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditonary Unit (MEU), is in Thailand to participate in Exercise Cobra Gold 2019. Cobra Gold is a mutlinational exercise co-sponsored by Thailand and the United States that is designed to advance regional security and effective response to crisis contingencies through a robust multinational force to address common goals and security commitments in the Indo-Pacific region. To platform the hidden talent of tiny tots and to give them the chance to present themselves before public, a Fancy Dress Parade was organized for Nursery students of USFC. Children presented themselves beyond expectations. Right from Political Leaders to Fairies to Animal kingdom – all were witnessed. Along with students even parents had a wonderful time, observing their confident wards on stage.
Not happy with this, but it's from like a few years ago; thought I might as well upload it to please both my stats and this pigeon. Paddington, I think.
Rail ridership has increased enough at Union Station in L.A. that they've added a new platform. It may be more accurate to say that they added back a platform, since I read that decades ago Tracks 13 and 14 were ripped up.
This is the ramp leading up to the brand new platform. It has been open for several weeks but I have not seen a single train at the platform yet,
