I seem to have a certain fascination with this particular section of Rolfe Street Station, but here we have a slight variation on the theme as I look across from the Wolverhampton platform in September 2007

Elephant and Castle station has been going under a re-fit for 6 months now. The tube workers prepare for another night of retiling and painting.
Scaffolding is put together in peices bg enough to fit into the passenger lifts, taken down onto the flatforms and then those peices make up bigger peices. It's amazing to watch.

For a long time, Shibuya Station had an inconvenient layout due to space restriction: Yamanote Line platform was 350m ahead of this spot. The problem was fixed in 2020 June, when Saikyo Line/Shonan-Shinjuku Line platform was moved 350m north.
This photo was taken during the preparation of the move. The new platform was going to be higher than the old platform. When the southbound track was switched in 2018 May, this platform had to be raised for the new track. The northbound track was raised when the platform was switched.
This was my first time at this station, its actually one of the better ones on the network well looked after and no litter in sight, in fact even at 8pm on a Sunday night one of the security staff was present and wasn't afraid to get a brush out! all credit to him for his hard work 5 stars!
