Looking from platform 1 at Lilydale Station across platform 2 towards the old Goods Shed.
Lilydale Station retains a number of its historic features including the Railway Refreshment Room and its Goods Shed.
Sadly the old Signal Box was removed from the platforms many years ago. Signalling is now done from a small panel inside the station building.

An August 2004 view from platform 1 at Wellington as I survey the steps leading down from the covered pasenger footbridge. This platform is served by trains towards Telford, Wolverhampton and Birmingham.

Platform Toys
Platform toys, the same basic toy form redesigned through different artistic collaborations are one of the toy industry's greatest additions and are at the heart of the designer art toy movement.
Platform toys allowing artists and everyone to use the form as a canvas. Apart from the traditional designer vinyl, using Sofubi as a DIY platform has been around in the toy customizing community for years.
We love this idea, and we want to explore the possibility of this platform toy genre. We have been working on some projects inspired by this idea for quite sometime. We will share more about the first project in the upcoming posts.
