I had some plastic surgery on my nose when I was 8 years old. Had a mole that covered half my nose. Today I was at the hospital to check out some results of a test I had a couple of months ago, I don't sleep well at nights and always feel tiered some part of the day. So I slept one night wired up to this device that measured my breathing, my pulse and oxygen in my blood during the night. Well I don't suffer from sleep apnoea. But the doctor found out that I have very small passage in my left nostril. It is almost always stuffy. My nose septum is skew, and the doctor suggested surgery. Well probably caused by the combination of my plastic surgery nose-job and been beaten up too much during my years with Martial Arts . I have not decided if I want to do it yet.

Caught up with the olds today for the first time since the saga on ANZAC Day (& several days thereafter) with mum's arm.
It was at my Uncle's funeral (he passed away a fortnight ago under tragic and unexpected circumstances), and while not a good place to catch up with family and friends, was still good to see people.
Poor mum, I made her take the splint off so I could have a good look.
Still not feeling back as we know it, but she keeps getting what she describes as "bolts of electricity" up her arm which I guess can only be a good thing, & some very limited moving in the tips of her fingers.
Back to the surgeon this Friday for a progress update.
Interestingly today, she mentioned that the scare is so enormous because the surgeon neeeded to open her up a bit more, because of the massive delay in getting her into surgery with those idiots at Royal Perth Hospital the tendons had withdrawn.
I reckon she is going to be lucky to salvage anything close to feeling & movement.

For years, there were rumors in my family that my Mother had a facelift. Mama did not confirm or deny these rumors. After my Mother's death in 2009, I found this booklet with a copyright of 1987 in my Mama's apartment. Evidently, my relatives were correct. However, I don't hold this against my Mother. I love my Mama regardless of what she had done to her face. I still miss Mama and I think I always will.
