....But where does that get her?
We have such a wonderful society, where if you don't look like Jessica Alba (and lets face it who does) you aren't as important. I am not against plastic surgery it's just sad how society pressures people into thinking they need it to get noticed.

Dr Plastic surgeon, immediately picked up on my insecurity about these "finger toes" & tried to make me feel better. He said, "What's wrong with long toes? I have long toes! But the damage had been done. He would either volunteer to show his shameful long toes or he would never see me in sandles again :)
i love adam and the ants...the b side of this is plastic surgery, which is brilliant but very scary.
i think both were used in the derek jarman film "jubilee", but it's been a long time since i saw it. the cover shot is certainly from the film, and the slits were in it too.
i bought this in plastic wax records in bristol, were i used to spend most of my saturdays about twelve years ago. it was still there last time i looked, on gloucester road.
Its so hard to come up with something original, i know i need to...
So anyway even though again this has been done countless times before i hope you like it =]

An officer, a Gentleman, Engineer, Community servant and member of one of the world's most select clubs, the Guinea Pig Club. One of 600 flyers, severely burnt during WW2 who, over a period of four years had face, hands and life rebuilt with the help of Sir Archibald McIndoe, the renowned New Zealander and plastic surgeon.................. RIP
"Youth in Asia" was intended to be a commentary on Bio-Mechanical engineering. After it's completion my wife had a different take on it, she saw it as a statement on plastic surgery and the pursuit of youthful perfection. Whichever meaning, they both encompasses our quest for immortality.
Paranormal Willow, post plastic surgery, wearing the gown from Midnight Garden Aymeline. Aymeline, btw, is STUNNING irl. The Avantguard sculpts have always been faves of mine so it's awesome to see one of them shrunken down. Anyway, I made so many of these picture frames and it still wasn't enough.... I guess I'll make a few more for the next time I use this BG.
I took this shot at night with my new ring light! It's a nice ring light too with like white, natural and warm light and then various brightnesses. I usually use natural light so it's great I have something now to use when it's cloudy or I'm just up late. :D
Immediately following the procedure, I began questioning my decision to go with a cut-rate plastic surgeon.

Macro Monday: Theme - 7 Deadly Sins
Pride: It has been called the sin from which all others arise.
Envy: Signified by green eye. Here pride or vanity leads to the envy of youth.
I've always wanted to do a series of the 7 deadly sins but never thought my first attempt would be macro. I have 6 of the sins completed and not at all sure that I'll post all of them. Right now I'm just brainstorming to get the 7th one. It's more of a personal challenge now!
Have a great Sunday and early Macro Monday!
I was not in Qatar for long... but I was there long enough to see a few interesting things and meet some cool people. This is Ameena, who was more than happy to show me all the little details in her tattoos.
Also, I just got this comment from her from my blog at www.stuckincustoms.com ---
