Some grass. I was really and truthfully looking for something to take and I saw the grass.The sun was setting, and I saw some amazing colours coming through (which I enhanced in this one).
Plant Training at Bardon Hill Quarry with the CAT 992G loading shovel and the CAT 777D dump truck 2002.
Put in the daffodils and crocuses for the spring today and some lovely violas to last the winter through.
There was some lovely natural autumn light bringing out the lines in my skin.
This Spider Plant Has Been Hanging Out In The Bathroom For Years....I Think Still In The Same Pot Too !!!
After one of the first cyclamens was chewed up by a squirrel, I received a replacement — and some little ones not yet of flowering size. Here they are after being soaked in water for an hour to be revitalized after being mailed.

When I was in Malaysia 2 years ago, I spotted this creeper plant on the ground. It seemed to go on and on, so I decided to zoom in and photograph just a little section. I love the contrast between the smooth leaves and the textured gravel.
The photo came in handy when I was looking for a subject to draw this weekend. My interpretation of the leaves against the rough background is shown here, completed in watercolour. It was a fun exercise.
