In my own humble oppinion, Robert Plant was the coolest person in Rock & Roll. Others were cool & way cool, but Plant had a persona and aura that none could match.
. . . to start planting!!! Just got all my heirloom seeds in the mail - soooo excited! They are open-pollinated seeds: pure, natural & non-GMO!!! Now that we have our 6' fence in - I won't have to worry about our furry friends ruining a garden. I have missed not having one the last three years. Had a beautiful one at our last house. Bob will make me raised beds with an easy-to-use irrigation system like he did there and we'll be able to grow lots of good veggies. Want to get orange, apple and lemon trees and blueberry and raspberry bushes too. Oh, and of course I'll be growing special carrots for my Ponyboy and all his horse friends out at the ranch!!!!!!
Had to get out for a couple minutes in between running errands and take this quick pic - it was 70* and sunny here today - simply gorgeous!! Had so many things to do though - would have loved to get a better shot but this will have to do for now! Looks like rain all day Mon and Tues!!

I was watering my plants the other day and carelessly sprayed water all over them. It looked quite cool so..

This is a really special flower I saw 5 years ago, the reason it special is because the plant can last a century before flowering and the colour itself is so unique that I can't resist to take an image. I also found out this flower of the Puya berteroniana are expected to last for around 2 weeks but it will sadly be the first and last time the plant blooms as they die shortly after the flowers fade.
