Day two of our trip to Paris, France.
Once back down on the ground, we walked from the Eiffel Tower through the gardens at the Champ de Mars. It was a little early in the season for the gardens, but I was fascinated by the plane trees that had been "shaved" down one side, so as to be perfectly flat.
From my comfortable shady seat by the pool I could see every 2 or 3 minutes planes of many types (including one Air N.Z. jumbo) passing overhead toward nearby LAX.
Christmas Day, and my last day of an ill-fated adventure - I'll be back "home" by Boxing Day!
This is a shot under the wing of a C-130P cargo plane. These are mammoth planes. If you go inside them there is not a lot of padding between the inside cavity and the engines so it's really loud and uncomfortable.
Been a bit MIA for a while. Still not sure how I want to use my flickr account these days and mostly post new work to [ blog.frostlinephotography.com ]. Here's some stuff I've shot in the last couple months. Cheers!
