The fisheries patrol plane (based in Invernes) does a low pass over Cromarty Harbour, checking out the local trawlers I suspect.
We had a walk from Morfa Mawddach to Fairbourne and then had lunch there. As we approached the cafe, we saw a very low plane. Of course I hadn't brought my camera, so this is an inadequate phone shot.

Check-In This is the correct plane. And it was pouring the day we left....just like the day we arrived.

Not knowing exactly what sort of plane this is is killing me. I know for example that our plane was an Avro RJ100, but no idea what this one is called.
If you are an internet geek and know what it is, please tell me.

Total of 34 seats in the passengers section of this combi plane. Front portion had been used to transport cargo. June 9, 2014.
This is a vintage Stanley wood plane, #18. It is a well built item, and has been well taken care of.
Tools of this quality are a thing of the past.
