It's now May 2012 and I finally finished a box for my second Stanley 45. This one is made of Jatoba - a hard tropical wood with twisty grain which makes it a real pain to smooth out.

This Boeing 747-436 took its first flight on January 11, 1999 and was delivered to BA on January 19, 1999…(c/n 25823/ 1195)
Planes collided in the air over Ramona. I raced to the scene (40 miles away) and did all the reporting. I remember I was sick as a dog that day.
We shot the band Planes Crash from riverside. This is pretty much exactly what I wanted out of this photo. I'm way stoked on how it came out.

The orange stuff on the ramp is spillage from the fire retardant that is loaded onto the plane in 16 mins, as I was told, and the plane would dump the load on the fires and be back in 26 minutes for a reload...these planes did some heavy duty flying in the recent fires in Northern Florida and neighboring Georgia...

The Young Ones actor, author and playwright Nigel Planer after receiving his Honorary Doctorate of Arts from Edinburgh Napier this morning. Nigel says:

Plane spotters on the left. The plane spotters hang out and eat hot dogs at ‘Flyvergrillen' (the Aviator Grill) overlooking the airport, the airport didn't approve of this and put up a fence blocking the view, in response Flyergrillen had dirt amounting to a small hill moved up next to the fence and had benches put on top of it, so it's customers once again would have an unobstructed view of the planes.
