taking pics of the moon the other night, I thought a bug was in front of camera, then I thought no it's night! then I thought a bird, no it's nighttime. being in sports mode it was a little bit before I reveiwed the pic. I was astounded! I cropped the pic to bring it closer but nothing else has been done! I am going to go out and get the plane schedules for this area. my husband thinks this is a 757, 767 or 777.
It looks like just two planes but there are three or four. I had no idea how accurate they were when flying instruments to a destination. I used the same software that I use when capturing Star Trails to get this image.

Photograph shot at Hagley Museum with light painting. Many thanks to the terrific folks at Hagley for being patient while I photographed, and to my friend Diane Mattis for showing me this wonderful place. You can see more photos I've done this way on my site at www.haroldrossfineart.com.
Been a while since I posted anything so I thought I'd get back in to the swing with a few random pictures that I made from random shots that weren't *that* good. Played around with them in post processing to try and get them a little better. Came out OK I think for a little project :)
This one is probably my favorite out of the lot, so far ;-)
Not very creative but I was in a moving truck at highway speeds as this beauty was heading in for a landing. I'm sure someone can tell me what type of military plane this is.
