This was definitely one of my all time favourite photos in the challenge -- I wish I had more time to do it justice! Loved playing with the textures and subtle changes in colour throughout the piece.
Apologies for the mucky scanner bed!
When I was out taking photos in the snow, I heard a small plane heading my way. As I already had my camera in my hand, I was able to capture it.
Does anyone know what sort it is?
A shot I took earlier this month in Guernsey with the Red Arrows flying over St Peter Port to celebrate the Channel Islands Liberation. The islands in the background are Sark on the left and Jersey in the distant right.

A Delta A320 is on final approach to Runway 19 at DCA airport, using the famous "River Visual Approach." Below, a VRE train passes through RO Junction enroute to Manassas.
One of many tasteful (and fun) portraits of my actress friend Cassie Bradley, taken during a studio shoot in Manchester last weekend.
Cassie is currently appearing in 'Husbands and Sons', a co-production between the National Theatre and the Royal Exchange Theatre.
Last Saturday evening, I saw the play and it was terrific, very intense with excellent performances.
You can see more of my pics of Cassie in my Cassie Bradley set.
The sketch on the left page was done on the Cape Air flight from Rockland to Boston. The sketch on the right was done the next morning at JFK Airport. That's the plane I flew on to London where I then connected on to Delhi. — at JFK International Airport, NYC.
