I was asked by the German Rockabilly Magazine "Dynamite!" to draw their very first X-massy Centerfold!
Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features two pinups this time! Brittany and Laura have on their tropical best and have hit the beaches on this bright sunny day. With the luscious palm trees, clear water, and perfect sand you'd think this tropical oasis couldn't get any better... but with Brittany and Laura there you might say to yourself 'there's a tropical beach here?!'

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Kelly in this eighth and final in a series of 'color pinups'. This series has looked at the classic styles of artists such as Pearl Frush, Earl Moran, and Peter Driben who often features simplistic pinup artwork with just the pinup girl, possibly a few props, and a very bright colorful background. Light falling on the pinup girl for many of the pinups would come from offscreen somewhere, highlighting parts of the girl. This is a look back at these classic 1950s style of pinup artwork. This is the final one in this series after a month of posting 'color pinups.' Look for them to return again sometime in the future!

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo is another homage to the classic keyhole pinups featuring Kayla! Back in October of 1941, a new magazine was born called Beauty Parade. Created by Robert Harrison (a journalist and publisher), it showcased attractive 'girl next door' type of models in 'photo story' format. The publication was one of many Harrison would make, each one getting more and more scandalous. Beauty Parade ran from 1941 to 1956. Keyhole pinups were quite the fad in the 1940s and 1950s, often depicting a woman changing or being surprised by the sight of an eyeball looking through the large medieval style key holes. While highly improbably for this to actually work for someone, the pinups nonetheless were used all over in many men's magazines of the time.
