Today's brand new airbrushed style pinup photo features Brittnee in this Lockheed P-38 Lightning aviation pinup! First built in 1939, this twin engined 'fork tailed devil' (the name the Germans gave the P-38) ran on basically two P-40 Allison Engines with turbo superchargers. This 37 foot long 52 foot wide fighter had a range of 1,300 miles and could achieve over 400mph. Standard P-38s carried one 20mm cannon and four .50 cal machine guns all in the nose of the aircraft. It could carry rockets, bombs, or drop tanks on the wings. It was a multi-role aircraft able to bomb targets, dive attack ground targets, provide photo reconnaissance, fight at night, and provide long range escort to bombers when fitted with drop tanks. The P-38 was the US Army Air Forces main escort fighter until the P-51 Mustang came into full service. Famous ace Major Richard Bong scored 40 kills in his P-38 Lightning during the war. Over 10,000 were built overall with the last P-38 being retired from the US Air Force in 1949. Other countries continued to operate the P-38 till 1965!

This client's boyfriend is a big fan of the old 1940's and 50's style pinup girl photos, so she wanted her photos to be a mix of both modern and as close to authentic pinup as we could get. (I am posting this pre-retouching. I plan to help out her dress in the back.)

Ahora sólo falta cuerpazo y lista ;D

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Gelsey in this Coca Cola pinup! From the 1930s into the 1940s, Coca Cola pushed the 'Coca Cola Girl' into their advertising quite heavily. Often doing some everyday task from working in a factory, serving in the military, or even playing at the beach with the gals always taking a break from their current task to have a Coke (in order to 'Refresh' themselves before continuing on with that task). This retro advertisement is part of the ongoing Coca Cola original ad recreations. The colors, fonts, language, and graphics of these have been meticulously researched and recreated to match the original style of the advertisements.

Another entry into the 'Aviation Pinup Series' featuring each branch of the US Military... today's airbrushed style pinup photo features model Beth, the Army Air Force, and famed tigershark mouth Curtiss P-40 Warhawk! First built in 1938, this single engined fighter also known as the 'Tomahawk' and 'Kittyhawk' is probably most known not actually for it's service in the Army Air Force but flying for the 1st American Volunteer Group (AVG) with the Chinease Air Force in a group known as the 'Flying Tigers.' These American volunteers, eager to jump into the war before America's entry in late 1941, claimed over 100 enemy aircraft destroyed. The P-40 would be used in all theaters of the war including Africa and early models were present at Pearl Harbor the time of the attack. The classic 'Tigershark Mouth' seen on the P-40s is said to have originated from Royal Air Force's 112 Squadron in North Africa. The first USAAF victory against a German aircraft was actually with a P-40C Warhawk in mid 1942. While the P-40 had many strengths, by the time the WW2 was in full gear with all countries involved it was considered inferior compared to that of the Lightning, Thunderbolt, and Mustangs. However, the P-40 proved itself in breaking Japan's air power with the bulk of the 1941-1942 Army Air Force operations performed by P-40s.

This pinup is part of a new 'simple' type of aviation pinup that I'll be doing more of in the coming months using Army Air Force, Navy, and Marine aircraft ranging from fighters to transports to bombers. Each will feature a pinup with an aircraft and the matching US insignia for that aircraft as we go through each branch of the service honoring the pilots and aircraft of WW2. The background will also be themed to the aircraft's color schemes during the war.

Wouldn't it be nice to get dressed up and made up and then just roll around into different pinup poses while a camera person snaps 10,000 pictures of you? 'Alright, now gently roll onto your back and bring your knees up to your chest. Hold them in place. Good - hold that for a second.'

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features Melissa in another tribute to the Army Air Force during World War 2. Rambunctious Red is at it again! She's even started making her own outfits. This one is up for sale in her etsy store: www.etsy.com/listing/199363769/watermelon-circle-skirt?re...

Fun shoot to do, too. We had her sister off camera with a leaf blower floating the skirt up.

Had an incredible pinup shoot with beautiful Melissa on Saturday evening! Look for a lot of new pinups coming in the next few weeks! Here's a little sample of what is in-store! I hope to ramp up pinups to two new pinup posts a week. Things have been pretty busy with other projects, so pinups have slowed down a bit lately.

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features beautiful Shauna in this Army Air Force themed pinup! Adorned in 'invasion stripe' themed attire, Shauna is out to give the flyboys a boost before their next big bombing run as they near closer and closer to Berlin. It's now quite military attire, but command doesn't mind because it gets the boys out of bed at first call to be the first ones in line to shake her hand in the morning!

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features the lovely Kelsey from a pinup shoot a few years ago! Heading out to take a flight on a Douglas DC-3 at the nearest airport, Kelsey didn't realize she'd be revealing as much as she did when the DC-3 started up right next to her. Perhaps she should have really heeded the sign!

Today's new airbrushed style pinup photo features Brittnee in this tribute to the men's magazines of the 1940s and 1950s. Mens magazines started in October of 1941 when a new magazine was born called Beauty Parade. Created by Robert Harrison (a journalist and publisher), it showcased attractive 'girl next door' type of models in 'photo story' format. The publication was one of many Harrison would make, each one getting more and more scandalous. Beauty Parade ran from 1941 to 1956. Keyhole pinups were quite the fad in the 1940s and 1950s, often depicting a woman changing or being surprised by the sight of an eyeball looking through the large medieval style key holes. While highly improbable for this to actually work for someone, the pinups nonetheless were used all over in many men's magazines of the time. This magazine, 'Peep Show' is a fictional combination design of several various magazines of the timeframe.

Today's airbrushed style pinup photo features the very beautiful Kelsey in this accidental lassoing moment! All the cowboys make lassoing look easy, but clearly it's not easy as it might seem. That being said, I'm sure any cowboy wouldn't mind if he accidentally lassoed Kelsey!
