…just as the sun broke the tree line this morning. I used a 10 stop ND filter, f/8 lens aperture, 200 ISO and I forgot what shutter speed I used? LOL I left the image dark. I liked it this way.

My oldest daughter turned eleven yesterday, and wished earrings but has no holes in her ears. So we had an appointment, without her knowing, on her birthday at a certified piercer in town (Gurlubb), a few hours later.

Unaware of the gift when she woke up, she was really excited to get earrings, but the thought of getting pierced was terrifying.

Before the actual piercing, we had to fill out a questionnaire with all kinds of physical questions, the last was a more individual.

"Are you a pipsqueak?"

"Can I marked that between yes and no?"

"Off course, better she knows."

This is the moment the needle gets pushed through her earlobe flesh.

All was good afterwards, walking around as a proud, exhilarated peacock a view moments later.
