On Tuesday last week, Calgary had a ton of heavy wet snow blanket the city. Because the trees haven't lost their leaves yet, branches couldn't hold the weight and they fell off the trees. This is Pierce Estate Park, six days later. Another park a block from my sons house, has broken trees from one end to the other. Not one tree was spared from being broken.
