I have never seen one of these allegedly common Piedmontese "barachin" old-time farmstead knives. Of course I haven't been looking for one, because anybody who needs a cool single-blade folding knife in Turin can get an excellent, supremely well-engineered Opinel for twelve bucks. An Opinel has a locking safety collar, so it's not gonna take your finger off like this guy.
