One hazy evening...The recent haze that hit Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore is now being felt here too. The smog, which first appeared over Malaysian skies in 1982, was worst in 1997 when the Air Pollutant Index reading in Sarawak soared to 839 539 higher that the āHazardousā level of 300 prompting the Malaysian Government to issue a 10-day Haze Emergency.

1st Annual Nick Drake Day
June 19th would have been Nick Drake's 60th birthday. Sadly, he died at age 26, but not before leaving the world some of the most haunting, beautiful and reflective music ever. let's keep his spirit alive..

Vila Rica do Ouro Preto (from Portuguese, Rich Village of the Black Gold) is a city in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, a former colonial mining town located in the Serra do EspinhaƧo mountains and designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO because of its outstanding Baroque architecture.
I was photographing this Hawk chasing a Blue Jay and the action was fast it just couldn't be done, not by me anyway. So he just stopped and took a breath not 10 feet from me and daid o.k. I will reward your patience, I thanked him and went on my way, of course after he flew away. I made a mistake in the naming of this Hawk, it is not what I thought a Red Tailed but a Cooper's very sorry for the mistake.
