The Sun on this day was brighter than usual, so bright that after I took some images of the moment, I was seeing sun spots for a few minutes later there after. " Nova" a Star showing a sudden large increase of brightness that then subsides.

A Tachinid fly posing in a dainty fashion. Although quite pretty to look at they do commit some ghastly habits, not least laying their eggs within the body of a living larvae of another insect.
