The 6/29/20 topic for Macro Mondays is "Pick Two", one from a list of objects and one from a list of colors. The two I picked were yellow and pen.

Hedged my bets with a double whammy :)

Gift wrapping pouch, Sony a6000, 7 artisans 35mm manual lense, 10x macro diopter.

This was hard one. I chose a curved stone that on a second look also has stripes. It measures 1.5 inches.

Returning to the patch of Echinops near our office - the ones I snapped last week. They've changed colours in the sun from a pure blue to a sort of lavender blue flower. Anyway, they are a hive of activity right now...

Small part of a wind ornament in a tree - twisted, speckled, and damaged from weather...it cuts an abstract looking line

Bluish Purple - Pen. I didn't have any felt tipped pens in pink or blue so settled for purple.

This is the first shot I've posted on flickr for which I used my new toys - a macro bellows and a ring flash mounted on the front of the lens. It's going to take more practice. And I'll have to get out my heavier tripod.
