Music teachers often face questions like "when should their child start with music lessons".
A recent PBS article suggests that within the first nine years of life, children have a unique “window of opportunity” that makes musical lessons valuable.
But, to be honest, the age of the child for learning any musical instrument is not an issue. Every single child is unique, and there is no formula or time period for the child to start with lessons like piano lessons, guitar lessons, violin lessons. Instead, the individual student should start learning music instrument when they grow curiosity for it and most importantly when they start enjoying music.

Eleanor doesn't rate the Guardian supplement teaching you how to play the piano. She's been playing with it for ages and ages...and still is. THis toy could last for days at this rate!
