and I guess that includes me.

Einstein's birthday is March 14 - and 3.14 approximates the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter - so nerds celebrate today as Pi Day.

Make mine a slice of Key Lime Pie. Without a doubt that is the best pie I have ever put in my mouth.

Yesterday (3-14-15) was Pi (3.14159265359......) Day (see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pi ). So we went to the Exploratorium in SF to celebrate. It was our first visit to the Exploratorium since they moved to their new home, and it is a great space!! We had a lot of fun.

pie is applied to the face of my boss, who really had a good humor about the whole thing.

(thank goodness!) :)

shot not taken by me, obviously, taken by Leslie.

This year, 17 people and 14 pies.

This is how you celebrate Pi Day properly.

In the United States, 3/14 is Pi Day. To celebrate, my grocery store had pie by the slice as well as whole pies.

The folks at the table across from us were handing out "I <3 π Day" buttons

Happy π day yo!

Today, worked throughout the early afternoon and watched the strange movie, Strangers with Candy.

Had a photography club meeting today and am now faced with narrowing down my favorite photos for the photo book, so if you like any particular photo, you should let me know.

Then, celebrated my friend's birthday in the dining hall and ended up in the North End in search of pie. My friend Katie showed me around and together, we finally found Bova's! And we found pie! Props to her for helping me take the shot as well.

Pi Day kind of snuck up on us again. I would have had Steve make a little pie like he did last year, but he was busy working that day. I remembered that Fuel (coffee shop) usually has pastries from High 5 Pie, so Evan and I went to try our luck there. We picked out a slice of marionberry pie and brought it home, with a quick stop at a bench on the way for pictures. Success!
